You have lost connection to this server

strangely...whenever I connect to a game server it loads the map and I see the 'choose your class' screen for half a second before being told "You have lost connection to this server" and then not being able to play

this is very strange...I was at my friends house moments earlier playing this game with total ease...and my firewall isnt blocking it or anything...

can anyone help me with this...anyone have any similar problems?...its very strange
