Should/Will the Recon scope stabilizer work on the Lambert Caribine's slight zoom as well as the sniper rifles? I think this might give Recon a better chance at mid range against Assault.

I personally think it should but from what I recall from beta, it doesn't.

Could be different now though :)

Nope it doesn't, you really don't need it on the carbine its range is isn't that great.

probably as much as the assault rifle, maybe less now that they've seemed to reduce the breathing effect some.

Is the Lambert Carbine any good?
I liked the Spec Ops unlock on BF2 so how does it compare? It would be a tough choice between that and the Sniper Rifle for m first unlock

Lambert Carbine's sole mission in life is Titan Assault. That's it.

It is actually pretty good close range, it's better than the engy's submachine gun, but it's not as good as an assault rifle.

I would say it compairs to the g36c except the range, the g36c you can snipe with at great distance in single shot mode but not with the Lambert, it's has more bulk to it and a scope view so it's not as fast as say the iron sight view of the g36c, more like the other assault guns in BF2142.

You won't win many gun fights with it going toe-to-toe with somebody using an assault rifle so you have to play the class with more stealth and distance yourself from your target at angles like from above for example. You have to catch your target off guard for the most part.

I think I'll probably unlock it as my first weapon, seeing as I'll be unlocking the Camo system anyway, so it's only 1 extra unlock.

Also when using the C4 (or whatever they've called it) on tanks etc I guess it would be better to have a shorter range weapon instead of a Sniper Rifle

The Carbine can use the scope stabilizer, we changed it after Beta2. Don't know why you'd need it, but you can.

o.0 That gun is so accurate lol, that'll make it insanely accurate hehe. I'd like to see what its like.

Its not that accurate in single shot, any Assault Rifle is better.

That’s interesting, does the stabilizer last longer when used with the carbine or is it still the quick one second stabilizer that was in the beta?

That gave me an idea!

What about, then you use the stabilizer, you lower the recoil on the rifle. Giving som nice accurate bursts?

IMO the stabalizer should stabilize ALL guns.

All the guns (except the P33) have red dot scopes, why wouldnt the stabalizer work on all?

Well it could be that what you are looking at is so far away that you can not notice the slight alterations caused by muscle spasms and breathing techinques but hell they have something to stop muscle spasms in todays military
