Different crash...

so i'm playing the game fine on 800 X 600 low graphics coz thats the best performance level (1024x 768 is laggy (is also my screen size))

i used to be able to play it fine and now it is buggered for some reason; i play and then randomly, it exits the game and changes my screen size to 800 X 600 (even if i run the game on 1024 X768) and also, it sets my colours to lowest (4 bit) which is very strange.

the only error i get, is from Teamspeak 2:

1# a call to an OS function failed

and

2# and some a strange error number 1400

is it Teamspeak2 and how do i fix it...?

I get this on my laptop sometimes, I think it's due to overheating.

Does it only happen with BF2? And your system specs would be useful.

only ever happens with bf2

intel p4 2.8ghz
1gb of ram
256mb nvidia vid ram
XP
150gb hdd
its a desktop
it shouldn't be overheating but on other games, like warrock, when i play, it runs fine (32fps), but the voice comms on ts are laggy, i feel it may be a teamspeak error.
