That day is almost upon us, It's only 13 days away.
If you want any chance of getting the game, the day it comes out, make sure you check out some of the pre-order websites so that you can be playing on the day.

I pre-ordered few days ago for PS3... I have to go with the standard edition, because the special one is too expensive... :cry:

I just compared the prizes(cheapest - most expensive), and cheapest was 99€(156$) and the most expensive was 137€(216$!!!)...

I still have to figure out if the region codes for New Zealand will work with an Australian Xbox 360 otherwise im stuck with the censored version. :(

The Xbox 360 uses the same region codes as DVDs.
• NTSC: North America and South America (United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Brazil)
• NTSC-J: Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan)
• PAL: Europe, South Africa, India, Australia, and New Zealand

So, if you have an Australian Xbox, you will be able to play games from India, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand

If you are still in doubt, i suggest that you order/buy some cheap game(try look for game what has been censored in Australia, but still has been released there) and try it out. That's the best way to figure it out.

I was contemplating buying the PS3 just for this game and Metal Gear Solid but decided against it due to me mainly playing PC, and the only game I will probably end up playing countless hours on 360 will be GTA:IV

I have a 360 and other than the better games on the 360 i would personally have bought a PS3, mainly helped due to the backing of Blue Ray.

Well, Metal Gear Solid(+the online version of it) should be already enough.. :D

Anyways, i don't know what Microsoft has in sleeve for the Xbox, since i don't keep an eye out for the Xbox news.. :D For PS3, i know that there is gonna be the Home thing coming up(atleast).

But here's few "big differences" already in the two. Just remember that i only have tested the Xbox, and this info about it, is what i have read from various pages...

* Xbox360 has high rate of FAIL in it(red ring of death). I have had all three Playstations, and i have never taken it back to the store so they can fix it..

* Free online for PS3!!

* The ability to watch my "own" movies with subtitles(im pretty sure this doesn't work like this in xbox). No, you don't need to burn them to DVD and get a mod chip to get them to work. All you need to do is put movie X.avi and Movie X.srt(subtitles) to an USB stick. Hook it up to your PS3 and watch Movie X with subtitles.

* Region code free games in PS3(for u Eliminator) :p

* And last but not least, PS3 offers bit more better graphics and frame rate than Xbox360...

If you seriously want a "pro's" opinion about these two. I suggest that when you go to the gamestore pick up GTA 4, ask from them. Since they have worked with both consoles and know the pro's and cons of both of them...

Yea again another positive towards the PS3.

I own a 360 and although its a good console with a few better games the PS3 beats it with graphics, the blue ray player and its general compatibility with everything.

Came to the conclusion that Playstation 3 is just too much money to drop right now on a console.

I already preordered my GTAIV for XBOX360 through Best Buy a few days back (Actually when this thread was made) so I will be going the morning it comes out to pick it up :)

Now, does the game come out the 28th or 29th? People tell me 2 different things.
