beta and demo

i'm just curious. is there much of a difference in the demo and the beta version of 2142???

Beta was better, because it had stats and unlocks. You can get the Beta, but you can't use it anymore since they shut all the CD Keys that could use it down.

Massive improvement,
EU tanks used to get ripped to shreds by the ground if they travelled over a small bump even 20 feet.
Mech's secondary gun turrets were messed up and you got a graphic glitch
Titans randomly exploded (yeah lol?)
I shouldn't go into any more detail, i'm not having a go here. I'm stating how exellent this game is and how far it has come, its a vast improvement and thanks all to the guys at Dice.

The titans didn't randomly explode! They blew up when you used RDX on them, which made them respawn at full health. I did it often, I know.

Beta1 was awsome, beta2 was about like the demo with a few more bugs/glitches.

dunno, but the graphics seem better, no more shake on the sniper, engy reloads quicker...

performance is up quite a bit. Loading takes about 20 seconds at most.

Titans don't randomly explode for no reason anymore.

Quite a lot of bugs have been ironed out along with some refinements.

Weapons seem to be a lot more accurate and more damage. THe engi SMG is a heck of an improvement.
