Ok, sofar it seems my server choice was affecting my game, but i actually had a great few games tonight, noticed a few bugs, but WTF

ONE THING DICE PLEASE PLEASE BRING OUT A BF2142 MAP WITH BOATS IN IT, the vehicle count is way too low, its a sandbox game, i realise that optimising the engine( which you've done a fantastic job of slows down development of new things ), but i ruge you to just *** one or two vehicles, a wake syle map with large water area and futuristic boats/amphibious vehicles would be great, there are only 10 maps, you have to add more in a patch seriously

And 10 maps is plenty. They will release more 100%, but we will have to wait. When has BF ever NOT released more maps?

They will probably release one free map each year, with some booster packs in between.

While you are absolutely correct in regards to the fact that the vehicle count is lower than other BF games. Does there need to be more vehicles? Do we need another transport that's a bit slower, holds more people and has more armor. Do we need anti-air vehicle when there are no jets. Do we need a jet when the gunship moves so fast?

guys i concur with all you have said, but to be honest im just saying more variety will add to the games longevity, im not looking for nering or anything, i just hope that because its a scaled down BF2 that being a sandbox game( where the more you can do the more variety is added ) that extra maps/sceneraios are added, i realise the unlocks will add a lot to it, but seriously 10 maps arent enough, ive palyed 20% of the game and it needs more

they shoud do what they did in 1942 they added two Patrol Boats and that Invasion of the Phillippines map , Liberation of Caen, Aberdeen, Coral Sea, Battle of Britain and new army Canada:D

so thats 5 new maps and one new army that includes the Sexton SPA and the Lynx scout car, as well as new skins, flags, voice overs, and a new Assault rifle and the Johnson M1941 LMG. The Germans in this map are also equipped with a new scout vehicle, the Kettenkrad.

Yep, played Beta 1, Beta 2 and the demo, spend a lot of time on the beta trying to find and post bugs :), still vehicle count is too low

10 maps is in no way plenty, look at BF2, the maps are so varied in style, city, island, landscape, dam, and what not, vibrant colours of dragon valley and wake to dullness of Karkand and Masteur but BF2142 is all dull, the new engine is so vastly improved compared to BF2 in terms of optimisations that i wanna see more vibrant maps, sure its the future, snow and all that, but surely theres somewhere on the planet thats hot :)

Its fine waiting for a patch, but why whould i buy it when i still feel its a little short

Man Screw booster packs there not worth it 3 maps and you gotta buy it online for 20 bucks. Expansion packs are the way to go booster packs are pointless I hope they decide not to realease any future booster packs. I for one cannot even buy them my parents won't let me use thier credit card......I need an income. :cry:

In this game you really need some friends in TS to play with or something.(IMO) Cause the levels are bigger and emptier so there are less places to hide and aren't many awesome fights like Karkand!

I have to get a mic setup for TS :), but to be honest i think id preer BF2 with TS than BF2142 moreso because i prefer the environment, but i do agree with you that it could be alot better with TS, we have a few in our clan/not really a clan that will make this better when were all playing the demo
