Mic not working

My mic works fine in all other programs and games however bf2 wont pick it up. it doesnt register in the viop setup util after installation and niether does it pick it up in the game options-sound menu.

The Bf2VoiceSetup.exe is in the Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2 folder.
Run it and select/adjust Mic Boost in control panel and see if it picks up your voice.
