Learn to fly

Is there like a single player mini mod that allows people to learn to fly aircraft?

I can fly the choppers by creating a local server, but i haven't found a map where the planes spawn, and obviously, i don't want to waste a valuable assett in multiplayer.

I looked at the single player mod but it says not compatible with PR 0.75.

Start up Operation Clean Sweep in SP. It's 16 player but you still get the jets :)

best way is to load up The Battle for Qinling, it has jets spawning at the start, with also choppers, and what you can also do to speed things up is in the concel type:

sv.startdelay 1

then when you crash and die or w/e, just type in the concel:

admin.restartmap

and you will restart instanly, with all assets resapawned etc :D

There is a training minimod that some community members have made too.

Ah, helicopters are easy to fly as long as you don't do too much low level flying in built up areas. Planes are much harder.

Lol thats the whole fun;) One of my favorite things is to fly transport littlebirds on "WTFwe'rallgonnnadie!!" altitudes on Quai(sp?) River. Kinda fun to hear ppl screaming over VOIP when your flying 1 meter over the road:laugh:

I have to learn to bring it down gently. I tend to thump it into the ground hard. A Bell or Apache can take it, but the Merlin just falls apart when you do it :p

I have to learn to bring it down gently. I tend to thump it into the ground hard. A Bell or Apache can take it, but the Merlin just falls apart when you do it :p

Dont use "S" or tap it gently if you do. When i land, i usually just tilt the nose forward so i dive, and then bring it up and kinda smack (no HP loss) into the ground.
