Just a quick question :)

Personaly, i think best thing Dice has ever done was to include an "infantry only" option with 1.4 patch...

Peeps who like their wehicles could still play them yet guys who just want "good old" infantry fight now can have only that = everyones happy :)

I think BF2142 should addopt this 1.4 feature as a must!!!

Edit: perhaps even Titan mode could have this option including only APCs

Yes Inf only is amazing, im really suprised it isnt included in 2142.

Well...

I know loads of people who acctualy came back to BF2 cause of this :) Its amazing feature and works really well - i repeat, i think 2142 simply have to come with this option...

I think its because INF can turn into a Nade spamming, medic whoring and supplying game.

You get so many points on INF only.

I remember reading a news post somewhere, where Dice had stated there would be no IF-only, or vehicle drops for that matter, in 2142. But I too would like to see IF-only.

We are bit older gamers and we dont exactly care about point whoring man hehe :) No, people came back cause they enjoy game better if there isnt some Jet whore about they cant do nothing about...

INF only with 1.4 is an OPTION - and as such is fantastic... Like it Play it - dont like it dont play it... simple as...

No i think thats why DICe decided not to implement it. But it is the best Gametype, especially on Jalalabad.

To be honest with you i think it works on all maps i have tryed so far... Its just great :)

When it comes down to whoring as such there is very simple fix for it - cut the bloody nades down - limit them to 2 per player while support can only give you ammo and NOT extra nades...

This would make game miles more realistic much more fun and whoring would go all the way down... 2 nades per player - full stop. Problem solved :)

Gentlemen, I have not seen a single vehicle on the battlefield 2142 that I couldnt take out myself with a rocket launcher (AKA, not having to use teamwork). Whats the point in IO mode?

Point is in having an OPTION... :)

You see "options" in general are rather nice little things that do not constrain us into something we dont particulary want, need or enjoy...

Keep on voting guys and hopefully in few days time we will have better picture of where we stand regarding this issue :)

I would certainly like to see it implemented. I was surprised they didn't include it in 2142 as well. I love IO in BF2 (and not just Karkand, mind you :p).

There is many people who loves it - thats why i think Dice should include it :) Saying that, after playing 2142 demo for 2 days, i think vehicle issue isnt going to be as big as with BF2...

For starters there is no Jets! :D

However, regardless of this, Inf only option in server setting should be present...

Nah i didt really like infantry only in bf2 , was just to boring urban maps with tanks and stuff would be cool
