Patching Failed...

So I took a long break from my bf2 playing...now I want to come back. So i used to play it fine on 1.41.

Now its a different story, i installed bf2 then try to patch to 1.41. All I get is a Patch Failed error around 32% ive tried going from 1.3 to 1.41, installed special forces and trying to patch and i have re installed bf2 like 5 times now,

Does anyone know anythign that might be stopping bf2 from patching or someything than can help me fix this?

You need approx 3gb of free space on your c: drive
There should be a file somewhere in one of the Battlefield 2 folders called patchlog or something, it should say what the problem is in there.

I have 100G+ space on my HD. I think ive patched it in safe mode now. How many servers should be up running bf2 ?

It depends how many filters you have checked, and possibly where in the world you are! I have 480 servers with these filters on:
Ranked
Same Version Only
Populated
Not Full
Same Mod
Punkbuster
