my cpu seems to be overheating when i run bf2. it has even crashed a few times while playing. i have 2 exhaust fans and a good power supply fan. was wondering how i can lower my temp. i also use speedfan but im not sure how to configure it.

Are you 100% sure its the cpu getting too hot? post some temps, if it is really bad you may want to see if your paste is still ok.

well speedfan reads while in game, core is at 55-57c. while im not in game it goes down to core#1 34c...core#2 38c. im not sure how to configure the speed of fans. i have 2 3pin fans.

those are normal temperatures when the processors are working hard. What about your graphics card?

What I do with my big rig, I have a big *** fan that blows in the vent. Lol works pretty well:)

Fans can get clogged dust, try giving them a clean

i now have 3 fans...2 blowing out ( 1 on side, 1 in back ) and one fan blowing in to cool the hard drives........how do i check video card temp???
everest, atitool, rivatuner etc

yeah i use rivatuner to check my vid card temps. tho its usually a good idea to give ur computer a good cleaning like ever 1-2 months. dust clogging ur fans and heatsink is the #1 cause of overheating. (i think)
