The BattleGroup-Frontlines (http://www.bgfmod.com/) mod team is back today with their latest media update and some news on their next patch. Here's what they had to say:
Hello and welcome back to yet another Battlegroup Frontlines mod update. Today we have some more info about the patch for you as well as some news by the TLO team and of course a few pictures of new BGF content.
But let us start with the patch first. We’ve told you during the last news that we will not add new content to BGF 1.1. Well, we thought, a patch without new toys is just boring. So we’ve decided to put some new content in. These new weapons might bring you more action to Battlegroup Frontlines, because new to the Wehrmacht are the AT rifle “Panzerbüchse 783(r)” and the first and famous assault rifle “Sturmgewehr 44”. Due to this new threat, the Soviets ordered new hardware as well. They will get the AT rifle “PTRD-41”, the SMG “PPs43”, a very nice Nagant Revolver and finally.... a shovel to dig holes – but unfortunately the BF2 engine doesn’t support this feature, so that you can only slap the enemies with that thing. All the new weapons keep our beta testers very busy for the moment. Let’s hope that they will do their job well, just to make an almost bug free release possible this time. At least our more sportive soldiers appeal well to the testers.
