Short? I found the campaign to be a very good length for a shooter. And no im not playing MP, but am thinking about trying to beat the game through on delta. Gonna be tough.

Its the shortest campaign in any shooter game ever. Took me about 5 hours. My friend did it in 4 hours straight through. Pretty poor value for money

i highly doubt it... but believe what you will.. i played SP twice.. and theres just too many parts i dont like.. u know when ur playing a game and theres those levels or parts u just really dont like? and u just dread having to do it again.. well for me theres too many of those.. for eg.. the zero gravity level.. the helicopter flying level.. which equate to alot of game time.. maybe when im in the mood ill play it again..

I dont have it but I played the betas/ demo and it was great but I tried the multi in the beta stage and the game play wasnt that great and the graphics was amazing but yea I liked it kinda.

there are more recent games that are far shorter and dont produce a great SP

They are not empty I played Crysis online 2 weeks ago, its just not the multiplayer feeling I'm used to so I don't really like it. Singleplayer COD4 was great so is Crysis single player, I beat both on hardest setting, its not even that hard to do.

SP was one of the best Ive played through, plus the Sandbox gives at least another solid 10 hours of replay value. Putting 50 NK grunts to fight against one of the huge bots is epic fun.

MP is underdeveloped and the lack of it is largely responsible for my copy collecting dust.

However, Crysis mods are the only ones bar Black Mesa Source, which Im looking forward to. Im constantly checking through sites of the teams developing them. From what Ive read and heard, its an easy to work with engine, and Crytek goes an extra mile to help out.

Absolutely, I'm waiting for MWLL and I suspect that there are a lot of people waiting for mods on this fantastic engine. Yes from what I've heard around the water cooler Crytek really are phenomenal at Mod support and fully functioning tools.

Thing is, Crysis lacks in the multiplayer area but thrives in the singleplayer. Whereas CoD4 thrives in multiplayer but isn't as good as Crysis in singleplayer, (even though CoD4 singleplayer is also great). I think tbh they should learn from each other.

will crysis mods actually come out ? i remeber there were loads of great mods promised for Far Cry - loads of videos and pictures of work in progress, but the final mods never materialised. I think it was because it was around the time Half Life 2 came out, so everyone moved over to that

TBH I want the Jurassic Park mod looks insane, although the Mechwarrior ones look immense as well
