Russian is my first language and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality in voice-acting. Its a little "cold" and "stiff" and if Im not mistaken, only one voice actor? But it is really immersive when you know exactly what people are saying, and expecially when its made with a pretty high quality aswell (not distracting with mistakes).

"Vrazheskiy Robot!" as "Enemy Robot!"

Definitely a lot of cool humour here, as that "a plane without a pilot is airbourne" or something when UAV is launched in BF2.

I can tell you that its definitely Russian. And either with little accent, or no accent at all. I didnt find any mistakes in the language or termins, but Im not militarily trained/educated either. Titan area has a lot of voiceovers aswell, which I havent really heard.

So they can get a russian accent right but not an English one.(special forces)

Of course? Do you think that if Russia ever formed a coalition with China and the like, they would let anyone else be in control? No. It's Russia. What are you gonna do?

Для Мати России!

It's not the asian side. The PAC is mainly russian. China, vietnam, thailand are not ever in the war according to dice i think

It's more like a USSR coalition

What's the Russian word for grenade?

Something every EU player should know. ;)

I must say that the Russians are ok but remind me of SF.

The EU on the other hand sucks big time.
They sound like english noblemen or something and way too positive.
It's war goddamnit.
Some deep hateful voice sets would've been good. :D
EU = english tea party.

Also I don't understand why they haven't mixed different voices.
That was already very annoying in BF2.
They only difference was squad leader, squad members/lone wolf and commander.

A littlebit more variety would have been good.

Even as an Englishman who loves "tea partys" by the way. I think a varied accented EU force would have been better.(As long as there's no French accent).

Just a joke don't get your onions in a twist.

Duuude same here! Russian is my first language as well, and I love being able to understand. It's a good russian speaker too, the accent is as russian as it can get, none of the SF crap xD

I love it :D

I wish the PAC spoke english so i could actually understand what they are saying without having to read it:confused: But it's ok because the game is amazing

There is a game option to set the voices to english only, but you'll lose the funny side of the game then. :p

Still, it'll be a lot more useful to have english V.O in BF2142 than in BF2, for example, the russian lady was telling us where the enemies where (on the titan), and I didn't get a word of it :P

Yea I absolutely love the female voice that counts down to next missile launch, and when it says the titan is gonna blow up, it sounds so cool

A plane without a pilot!! Lol, I'd love to be able to comprehend that in BF2.

Really, I'm not British, but IIRC the Brits sounded a lot more "proper" in SF.

I find it all so useful if you're on PAC and you hear someone speaking English, you know there is an enemy behind. Also useful when you hear them shout "Grenade!" hehe.

True, but on the other hand, I love to know when an enemy walker was spotted in the area heh.

I usually rely on being shot at to tell if there is an enemy mech in the area, this method occasionally results in death as a nasty side effect.
