I am toying around at home with modding some other games. I haven't bought COD4 yet but I am greatly considering it to play around with the modding tools for it.
Does anyone know if its possible to mod in vehicles and aircraft? If so, do you know what's involved? How hard is it? Does the physics engine allow it?

From what I've heard, a team of players were able to get a really buggy humvee working, so there is hope... (but that was awhilst ago, and I've not heard much from that)
Also there is a bot mod out with 'intelligent' bots, they follow voice commands... it's still under development tho... PeZBOT (http://www.infinityward.com/community/forum/index.php?topic=32814.0)
IW was thinking of including the at50 (that mission where you're in a plane with a cam and fire missiles down onto the enemy) in multiplayer, however they figured it would be too much...
So It's deffinetly possible, tho I'm not sure how difficult it is...

Oh totally forgot, Xmodel limit is pretty low for CoD4 - therefore if you were able to add a vehicle, you'd only be limited to one or two vehicles... it wouldn't be possible to add humvees, tanks, planes :( the engine can't handle it...

Its not the number of models is low its the number of unique models that are low and there was a guy that managed to get the AC130 Gunship working in mutliplayer along with explosions etc whenver you reached i think it was 10 (might have been 15) but i haven't seen an update on this for a while
