Complaint letter to EA?

I was thinking of writing a letter to EA about the lack of skill it takes to fly air vehicles. If you agree with the fact that the air vehicles take no skill to fly please post here, and leave a QUICK message to EA. if i get enough posts i will try and find an adress to send a link to the thread to EA. please post below with your feelings on this subject, and feel free to add your own.

Just wait a few months, EA will come out with an exapnsion or booster pack that includes a "new" jet that will please or atempt to please all the whiners.

I think you're right. The infantry units in this game are a blast to play. After all, it's a First Person Shooter, so why shouldn't it be fun to run around and shoot people, right? And making the vehicles simpler to use and easier to kill only promotes their role as infantry support instead of one-man point whoring machines. Good on you! I hope they publish your letter...

I heard a while back that E.A were going to release some kind of jet simulator/action game.

I like the new hover craft things. They don't dominate and they are easy to handle. All the jet pilots can keep playing BF2.

I agree with everyone. I'm glad the air vihecles are nerfed!!!!!...actually thank god for that! I could'nt stand chooper whores and jet whores. Like I hate you said: "its a first person shooter not a sim game dude. Go play microsofts flight sim if you want to fly stuff.

Sure its easy to fly now but its really hard to be proficciant in it. this isnt a simulator and hover jets should be pretty easy to fly seeing as though its the future.

Im not going to get into the whole 'games shouldnt be realistic; 'pro-dolphin diving rant' that so many have goten into but If more people can enjoy the video game when their totally useless skill wise SO BE IT. A friend of mine had not clue how the guns changed so he stuck with his knife. did pretty good might i add.

yeah dude!!!!! The game now is actually fun to play. The infantry is the main focus now.(in my opinion) Is nice to see that the whoring of planes and choopers have been reduced! Also I noticed that the arty does a lot less damage now! Almost to the point that nothing happens to you if your caught in one. Again, THANK GOD FOR THAT!!!!!! I could'nt stand that damn arty in bf2. It tottaly disrupted the infantry combat for me. I really love the changes that were made in this new game. Looking forward to playing againts those whores now that you cant get in your little plains anymore. Come fight like a real man in the ground you girly man!!!!!!...lol. Also I noticed the instant proning has been dealt with aswell. Finally we have decent infantry gameplay again!

You do realise your trying to complain to the TotalBF2142 Community. We like the game, and are glad that planes are gone, personally I don't think planes would really work in this environment, as they work on the internal combustion enginge, whereas these new vehicles don't.

Agreed. I think that if you try to fly a plane in a ice age the fuel lines would freeze up...then you are GROUNDED FOR LIFE!

The lack of planes is cool with me. My pilot time in BF2 was about 10 minutes and I was bored and never bothered again. IT seems you liked to fly the jets or you didn't. No great loss.

I like the coptors myself... I've been able to have some real fun with them.. and it does take some skill to pilot it well...

I can understand the complaints though. EA has stifled an element in the game that was really difficult to master, and fun.

Considering air combat, there really isn't much defense again a supersonic jet, except perhaps other supersonic jets. Now if they through some SAM's in there....

Bottom line is that it's a game, and the planes gave advantages to a select few... and if you notice the most complaints come from those who found it amusing to dominate the game, and not consider at all the fairness of it.

That's ok, they can ***** all they want. Now they can come down to our level and see if they actually have some skill.

again, like I said before. You want to fly? Well ok. Go fly then. If you visit microsoft's page you can pre order there flying sim. It actually comes out the same day as 2142.(I"m not joking...lol...it really does come out the same date...look it up if you want.) Microsoft's flight sim 10 looks to be a great flying game. Go play that!!!! 2142 is a first person shooter, not a sim game.

BUT i swear this thing has auto-pilot! i but it into a slanted dive and let go of the controlls... and it evened out and pulled up! wtf. that is just retarted:mad:
