Demo Install Problem

I just downloaded and installed the BF2142 Demo from the EA Downloader, and it will not work. When I try to open it, it says it cannot find d3xd9_29.dll file and crashes. I tried downloading it from another source, and it still didn't work. Am I leaving out something? Any help would be appeciated.:confused:

Go to http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_29, download that file and extract it in C:\WINDOWS\system32 and maybe re-install the demo.

ok i downloaded the dll file and extracted it but, when i try 2 play it it says a error has occered and has 2 close it but dosent say what the prob is. how can i fix that and if its re-installing how am i suposed 2 do that.







P.S. it took me an hour 2 install *sob*

Try re downloading the file, but don't open a apllication, just let it be until it done
