1.0.3 --> 1.1

According to Kaos Studios (www.kaosstudios.com), since the next patch is so big, they are changing it from 1.0.3 to 1.1. Take a look:

Due to the fact that the upcoming patch contains a substantial number of features and fixes, we have changed the number from 1.0.3 to 1.1.0. The patch is currently in testing and we should have more news soon.

Well if they listed a feature that they are currently testing, but it doesn't work and they have to remove it form the patch then people would just complain.

If the patch contains enough content changes/additions to the rename to be worthwhile then 1.1 needs to appear fast, to be honest Voip is needed to save this game, 3rd party is good but when you don't know who is in your team then teamwork doesn't really stand a chance.

I don't understand why people think VOIP will save FFoW. Some also seem to think joystick support will save it, too.

BF2 has VOIP, but quite a few servers have it turned off. Not only are these some of these servers populated 24/7, but even when servers DO have it on, it's not used as much as it should. BF2 still lives without a huge use of VOIP, so why do you think it will affect FFoW?

COD4, one of the most played PC games at the moment has VOIP support but I haven't heard anyone use it. Maybe on clan servers, but definately not on public servers... yet, COD4 still remains king even though no one uses VOIP.

Same with joystick support. In BF2, do you honestly think the majority flies jets with a joystick? Maybe in leagues and stuff, but on a pub server I wouldn't be surprised if no one uses a joystick to fly the jets. So how would this save FFoW?

I'm not saying these features aren't good to have. In fact, I think VOIP is mandatory in any game being made that has online play. I also think joystick support should be mandatory in any game with vehicles that fly. But, I don't think these features will save FFoW

It's probly too late for VOIP to save FFOW, but the lack of it from the start is what killed it, based on popular opinion.

So if someone were to sarcastically rename this patch PUBLIC BETA v1.1....would they be banned?

OLD. That is for patch 1.03 which has been renamed to 1.1 due to the amount of fixes/new content.

So where is that list?
