man i cant get enough of this game. i cant wait till retail. hopefull all the whiners and complainers wont be playing the game on game day, but they probably will then come back and make another thread bout how the game sucks and then log back into play another round and log out and come here and well u get the picture, its a never ending cycle i guess. oh and i also thought i would send a letter to EA and tell them how great of a job they did. so if i get enough signatures for that i will probably send it in. so who else thinks this game F'in rocks.

I agree 100% Best game ever until Halo 2 PC and UT2007 comes out.

The vehicles are amazing and the guns are fantastic! The ability to mix and match classes are awesome as well!

i especially like how i get a different unlock every time i rank up. so something to look foward to b/c im a straight up stats ho lol.

i pre oerdered the game from ea downloader so ill get to pre load it tomorrow sometime but i still have to wait till the 17th which sucks

Yes, most people just need to relax and enjoy the game.

BF2 was such a good game that everyone turned into Sim Meier and started critiquing the most irrelevant things -- same will happen here.

Just yesterday I took a step back and was astounded at how far this series has progressed. Who remembers BF1942? Play it some time to reminisce and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway I agree 100% - great game, it's VERY stable and has lovely performance (including load times!) with alot of great features. The era is portrayed very well.

I only wish infantry combat felt like this in BF2... the soldiers feel "heavier" and shakey cam while you're running is great.

Problem is that true whiners take their "cause" more seriously than people who like the game. While we're playing, they're busy making stupid banners, sigs and petitions (and spamming them all over the place) that totally overshadow the majority of the community who is busy in-game and thinks the game is just fine.

Well i love this game also and can not get enough:D

Can not wait till tuesday when i get my new graph card and play with some decent FPS:cool:

Then i can play Titan mode better ;)

hey how did you know, i'm working on it right now. i put $50 to good use and got paint shop pro. if anyone has some time and skills and would like to give me a hand with creating banners or with ideas for banners i would appreciate it. here's the ones i'm working on right now:

I love the game. It feels odd at first from BF2 its more like GWAR/Quake 4/Planet Side. I loved flying myself in BF2 but I go no problem with adapting with new Air system. I already love the gunner. The Classes to choose are odd but good, can't wait for unlocks. Titan Mode is intesting, Commander mode as be slightly upgraded.

I have only 1 rant about BF2142 Demo:

TO MANY GOD D4MNED RETARDS AND HEADLESS CHICKENS AND WHINERS!

the only reason that this game Bf2142 is soo free off many bigs, is that they were eliminated during the last year with BF2. Bf2 was like this when releaserd, but as soon as the patches came from DICE the game was a bag of tricks.

Now we shall see what happens, but im very suprised at how well the game runs on my PC, and at the loading times, they are very quick, also the game browser is more effective than BF2.

Problem with majority of BF2 patches was Canadian team... Swedish team was working on 2142... I hope they learned from experience and all future patching will be done by main team and not by some naabs eeeeeeee :D

I know whats gonna get nerfed first, support the self stabilizing people are gonna ***** I think, I love it though :) I can actually kill people a far distance away, just takes a second.

How about all those little details that we take for granted?

Like how the medic pack and ammo pack open up. Or how when you run as infantry your camera shakes. Or how tracer bullets are on almost every weapon now so big battles are crazy.

The HUDs are very cool for nearly everything. I like the way the walker hud displays your coordination with the legs.

The "burning" effect is really great too (try hitting external view [F10] when landing your dropship to see it).

Unlocks look pretty exciting too. It's great to see that you can now customize your soldier's toolset and not just the primary weapon. One of the sniper unlocks has a multiple zoom for the rifle I think.

And lastly I think they captured the era very well (esp. with the music). But I'll save all of that for the full review I'll write when the full game gets released.
