There is a new update posted today over at the Point of Existence 2 (http://www.pointofexistence.com/) mod website regarding a new map pack release. Take a look:

We will keep this short and sweet today. We have been working over the last few weeks on putting together a second Fan Mappack. The mappack is now ready for relase and we hope you will join us in congratulating the mappers who have put so much time and effort into making these custom levels for our mod. This entire release is about Point of Existence trying to support the community mappers who have supported us. We hope you enjoy their work. The following servers will be running the new mappack:

as of now this is the only one that I know of...however I heard there was a issue with one of those maps from a permission issue from another mod.

This is our second mappack for POE2. The other was for a much older version of the mod, so this effectively replaces it.

Definately try this one out.

The snow map layout is a spitting image of one of DC's maps for BF1942. Or do you mean a other?

I'm not going into detail cause its not my place to start something but all I heard was there was a few maps with a copyright issue from another mod's maps. I'm sure you could find more info on the official forums perhaps or surf around enough.

So I only need to DL POE2 v2.1 full-install and mappack v2, if I haven't installed any version of POE2 on my pc before, is it right? :D

ps: does mappack v2 sp/coop?

Thats correct, you just need 2.1 and the mappack to play.

The BF2 conversions have sp, but the fan made maps do not. POE was involved with the conversions, but the others are maps made by fans, we have no involvement in their production.

Another question: Does these coop/sp maps referred in this thread work with POE2 v2.1? Or are they out-dated yet?

not sure if this guy is speaking about the particular maps you are trying but he seems to have had luck with several of the old sp/coop maps from bfsp.
