First Strike v1.2 Patch Released

The wait is over! As promised, the First Strike (http://www.fsmod.com/) mod team is back today with the release of their latest patch, v1.2. Check it out:

This is it, the moment you've all been waiting for: First Strike v1.2 has finally arrived! The Version 1.2 patch is now available for download and general public consumption.

Featuring new maps, vehicles, weapons, and an array of bugfixes and gameplay tweaks, First Strike v1.2 blends infantry, vehicular, and even space combat for a truly amazing Star Wars experience. This patch has been in the making since the release of First Strike 1.1 in September of 2007, and we here on the dev team are extremely happy to bring to you all of the new toys to play with and experiences to have in v1.2 We can't wait to see all of you out on the servers with us.

Major Changes/Additions in First Strike v1.2 Include...
-7 new maps
-7 new vehicles
-Persistent stat tracking
-Over 12 high priority bug fixes
-A wide array of visual improvements
-Several new musical scores
-Many other miscellaneous tweaks

Yes if you go to the comments (forum). But not if you just read the news on the main-site. so again, it would be nice if there was some icon or description

for some reason im unable to locate any servers running this mod, tho i think its down to the fact i have the 1.50 beta installed :(

theres lots of servers.....uncheck your rank box in the filters....the one that says "this shouldnt be checked" also if you updated to the beta patch of 2142 your going to have to uninstall and reinstall the game to version 1.4

this obviously doesnt work with 1.5 , so I reverted back to 1.41 and still all servers are red for me, so does that mean I have to completely re-install 2142 and patches? Argggggg!!!!!
I wish they would tell us it didnt work with 1.5, or maybe they did?

Any time that EA has released a beta patch, people have said that you should back up the previous version so you can switch between the two. EA doesn't usually release patches to go from the beta patch to the new official patch, so if you didn't back up your 1.40 folder, you'd have to reinstall anyway.

Just finished downloading from the torrents. The seeders on the GameUpdates (link (http://www.gameupdates.org/details.php?file=FirstStrike_v1.2_Full.exe)) site got it to me in about 30 minutes. I'm going to install and try it out and then get back to seeding for others.
