about 12 hours but thats cos it crashed and i lost all the project files ... not once...not twice ... but 3 times!!!!!

i was soo annoyed :P im planning to make a true 2142 epic :D

If theres one thing I have learned when using AE, its to make BACKUPS. LOTS of them! Every time you save, also save as a copy.

lol aye that was the one i watched i didn't think it waranted a mention because i only used like 20 % of the tut just the part at the start the rest was all original :D

Well, I use AE. A lot.

This might sound repetitive, but AE/PS/Vegas are all products that once you see a tutorial, you forget about the tutorial and work on your own style. Create animations, make your own themes, base structures.

There is one common aspect that Kramer and I share, we almost always start with a Gradient based background. Almost.

So, there may be similarities, but it's the differences that ultimately count. :)

I tend to work for myself, WS is not a clan, it's a community.. per say.

The ECP.. is for the ECP of TGN.

Patana Productions was my first paid experience.

I have to give credit to Kramer's Evolution package.

But yes, if I get an incentive, I usually will do stuff for other clans/people/businesses.

Overall, it's a bit bland. If it's a clan intro, then some in-game footage etc would make it ... more active.

I hate AE... Its just so hard to find good online tutorials on it.

Never seen the basic training. I know of it, but never watched it as I started from first ever tutorial, and watched 2 more after that, gave me all the incentive to make my own work.

Yes the flourishes, arrows and all that vector images are from Evolution, which is like 90 bucks and we all know you will go out and buy it right? :wink:

will evolution scew my after effectsbecause i got a plugin (i forgot the name the one that hast the particle effect in the tutoria;l i used for this piece) and it put a huge green X across my roject when i used any of the effects in taht plugin :/ i think this may be due to the means i aquired AE :P

Buy it. Simple.

And no, all the flourishes are movie files, which is what I am having trouble with (I don't know how to make my animation files into movie files in the program I use).
So adding flourishes should not give any problems.

No, it's a watermark, you need to buy the plugin, what you are using is a demo, hence they will put a green mark across whatever you use that plug in.
