Does anyone know if the stats or ranks i earned from the demo will be rolled over into the full game?

You can check your stats online though...

Go to http://badcompany.ea.com/default/

Top right corner is login. Login with your EA account info. After that you should see your stats..

You may have to link your soldier to the account(i didn't have to).

When you are logged in, top right corner, there's drop down menu saying "Welcome: *your nick here*, from there select link gamertag/PSN Name...

i think thats why they are giving you gun when you reach level 4, its because after you turn it off, your stats are gone. what gun is it? i think its the uzi and if it is i dont want it

I didn't say that they are deleted... They just aren't moved to the full game(meaning kills/deaths and so on).. There must be something left behind, because of the code...

The stats on that website isn't updating at all... Atleast they aren't for me...

The demo is awesome..

Only downside i have noticed is that there's no way to communicate with friendlies. They could add the BF2/BF2142 style communication thing to the game. But with this one, press d-pad down to say thanks, left to say no way and so on..

I've been testing out the vehicles too, and i think it ain't that difficult to fly the helo as you said.. Only problem is to get a gunner(or a good pilot)..

Laser designator will be my first unlock for sure in the full game... So many tanks/helos/jeeps has blown to pieces because of that little thing... I love it.. :D I managed to take out helo and a tank with one bomb earlier. Helo pilot flew straight into my bomb, it took out the helo and the tank below it.. :D

I also have tested out the tracer dart gun... You can really dominate the tanks with that + 1/2 man AT4/RPG crew. All you need is one crazy(read suicidal) specialist to run around and between the tanks. And a AT4/RPG crew somewhere up in the hills, to take out the tanks..

Other thing worth mentioning, that i had my first sniper squad experience with this game last night. And all i can say that it was AWESOME!! There was 2 other guys(snipers duh!! ;)) with me in the same squad, and we were really tearing the other team apart.

Basically we started from the west side of the river(looking from the first OpFor base to US base), and we were just killing. Every time the enemy hopped to tank, one of us already had tone on the tank, and JDAM was on the way.

After we capped the first base, it was time to move on. We decided to go to the hill side this time. At first we were doing really good, but then the enemy snipers spotted us and we were caught. After respawn i decided to go for the gold crates, so i took the specialist kit. Just when i got to the base, i took some fire, i hid to this building(i know that they can blow up walls :D) hoping to survive. It only took like 2-3 seconds when someone threw med pack at me. I tought wtf?! looked and there was my squad mates, one as support, one as assault. I was so happy and amazed about this(team work in public server?!?!).

After a while we took down the gold crates and it was time to move on...

So i was really amazed about the teamwork we had going on even without the mics. And the sniper team thing turned out to be really deadly... After the round two of us had over 20 kills, and the last one wasn't too far behind...

I just can't wait for the other maps, and weapons in the full game...

I can't check my stats cos it keeps saying I haven't linked my PS3 name with my EA account even though I've sent the email and confirmed it. It then tells me "The gamertag for your console has been already linked." when it isn't. :mad:

The unlock is attached to your Game Handle for 360 or PSN and not connected to your stats. You'll get it, don't worry. I prefer the Gold Edition XM8C because it matches my style of play.

I just can't wait for the other maps, and weapons in the full game... I'm pretty sure you're going to be pleased. I enjoy all the maps, but Oasis isn't in my top favorites. :salute:

On the Xbox 360 leader boards number 1 is 150,000 and I have 12,000 being number 6,000. It's incredible.

I can't see my stats cause I'm having problems with the gamertag/EA account linking.

About the snipers, I was once by my own hiding behind some bushes in the river. It was the first 2 crates and I got 18 kills in a row with the sniper alone. At the moment that's my best with sniper hiding and being a whore.

Something which happened to me yesterday which was really good and funny was that at the third base 2nd crate in the streets there was a wooden wall which you can destroy. I wanted to get through so i knifed the wall so as I did I stabbed someone behind that wall. I didn't even realize he was behind it. I just stabbed the wall and there I go getting a Dog Tag. LOL!

From the small video from BC's site, Ascension looks really wicked with the fog and all... And if the Deconstruction map is how i think it is... The snipers will be really deadly in that map..
