and for the other one you have to check your stats online, i assume once you've played the full release.

I had the same problem, the strange thing is it had registered Northern Strike,
played a quick round of 2142 and it registered fine.

Wow it doesn't work at all. My bf'42 + rome cd keys both did not work and neither did 2142. But for some reason bf2 worked.

Same problem here... It registers NS, but no BF2142...

I need to install the game again and see if it helps...

Ok so after re-installing BF2142, and playing few rounds, i finally got it working...

I guess that the weapon will be unlocked once you fire up the full game...

Why does the process have to be so difficult. I dont want to redownload and install all the patches for 1942 and 2142 just so I can unlock a gun.

You don't need to install them(atleast i don't think so)... For example in my case, my soldier already had disappeared from the learderboards etc. so that's the reason why it didn't work in the first place...

With 1942 all you need is the CD-Key...

On my account it has NS standing out but not the rest so does this mean that I have that one assured? I tried BF 2142 but I need to play a round, no problem cause it's installed. For BF 2 I can't cause I don't have it installed the same goes for Special Forces.

When the game's out for everyone, will you still be able to do this Veteran program stuff? Cause if you can then I'll have time to reinstall BF 2 and Special Forces.

For some bizarre reason I have 2 EA accounts and my PSN ID is logged to one and my BF2, SF, 2142 and NS names are logged to my other account. Don't ask me why as its a long story.

Anyway, instead of having to email EA and trying to get them to link my 2 accounts or change my PSN ID across I thought I'd just start a new soldier linked to my PSN ID EA account and play 1 round so that I can register for the veteran unlock. Do you think this will work or will I need to install BF2, SF and NS as well and play them to get it to work?

Im not sure how the vet thing effects the game other than giving you the gun... I mean, does it show next to your nick like in BF2142, or what...

I'm not sure if you get the unlock. I just have BF 2142, NS and BD Demo.

For BF 2142 it asks you for the account name not the soldier name.

As far as i know, BF2 and the expansions count as one game(even if you add BF2 only, it's one game). So if you add BF2+SF, that's one game, then add BF2142+NS that's one, and then you get the unlock...

I added the BC demo too, just in case...

And like drrapid said, it's asking for the EA login...

I can't go in to my online account in BF 2. It says that the server refuses or something like that. I managed to add BF 2 on to my Veteran I don't know how though and now I'm trying SF even though I can't.

Mine wont take the 2142 info either even though I have played the game online.. How lame. bf2 and 2142 are the only ones I have.

It wouldn't take mine either, so i dusted off the disc, jumped into a Highway Tampa server for like 5 mins, put the smack down on a tank, quit and then tried again and it took it.

Im not sure if you actually have to earn points in a round for it to count tho.

BF 2 worked for me strangely cause I wasn't even able to enter my account but it doesn't work for SF. When I write in my account and password correctly it says "server has been refused" or something like that.

I gave up on SF, luckily i got BF2 and 2142 to work tho, and for some reason its accepted Euro force but not AF.
