can anyone add your 2142 account? i have added BF2 SF, AF ,EU but 2142 doesn't seem to work and my account details are correct?

it may be down at the moment. when it first came up i couldnt enter anything and the next day everything worked. just keep trying

Have you played a 2124 game recently? If not then boot it up and earn a few points, quit, and it should work.

ive not played 2142 in a few months (4 or so) and bf2 even longer than that. prolly over a year ago cuz i lost my key. all worked fine though. even all the booster packs are on.

Yea BF2 worked fine for me, but for 2142 i actually had to log on and play a round.

I literally jumped in, put the smackdown on a tank, and quit. Somehow that made it work.

You don't need to add 2142... play BC on line then add that, together with BF2 that will be enough to get you the unlock.. thats how i did it :)

yea i have enough but i think in the full game you have a number next to ur name which i THINK relates to how many BF games you own. Also you can add the BC Demo to that list

You obviously did lol, i had a right headache trying to get it with the 2142 method.

If only i knew that had worked i could have saved myself the whole install/patch process.....oh well its done now lol.

does it matter in which order you enter your games? i have entered BF2, SF , AF ,EU BC: Demo and then BC:full game and my vet rank is 1 shouldnt it be at least 2 with BF2 and BC ?

Just added 2142 and my vet rank is now at 2 so i looks like you have to Enter BF:BC full game first then other games later for the vet rank to update

Not exactly true...

I started with BF2/SF, then Northern Strike then Bad Company Demo, then BF2142 and last Bad Company full game, and i got the vet rank...

When 2142 gets added so does NS depending on whether you own it or not.

I'm happy with just the Fn2000 as a reward, i really love that gun.

Yay, I now have everything lit up except for BFH.

The F2000 is a really good gun, it's like the UMP with a farther range and more accuracy.

The M16 is better after I unlocked it i almost never use F2000 anymore the only thing better on it is the Iron sites.

i only had it once when i picked up someones kit so cant give it a proper comparision. there is a comparision thing in the unlock menu.

i'd still say that the m16 is the better, it just feels a lot better over range, and its power is good.

You're just trading Power for ROF so it's really a personal choice. I like the M16 much better because the XM8 felt like a pellet gun to me but I know there are a lot of people who like the XM8 so it depends on the person.

Well i have experimented with both and i feel the M16 is better overall to the XM8 but it depends on the map, if im going for longer distance maps i will take the M16, if its a shorter distance i use the F2000 or the XM8 due to the ROF.
