PC Demo Coming in July!

Kaos Studios (www.kaosstudios.com) has just posted a new update in which they reveal that a demo version of Frontlines: Fuel of War will be coming out in July! Take a look:

We will be releasing a PC demo of Frontlines: Fuel of War in the first half of July.

The demo will have the following specifics:

* English language only
* It will be current with the 1.1.1 version of the client
* Maps: Oilfield and GNAW
* No CDKey validation will be needed by players

I think it is a good idea from a marketing point. Show people Kaos has not given up on this game. I really loved the beta, but my PC can't handle it easily even at low.

I agree completely, FFOW could and should haev been a great game, but it was simply released too early.

Hmm. Has a game ever recovered from a failed launch?
Even if the demo is interesting, I doubt I will buy a game from someone who release the game in such a poor state. It is hard to have faith in them supporting the game in the future.

Online player count has been picking up. The game is being bundled with new Nvidia 9800 series cards which is also helping.

I'm not sure if it will help this late. People have already heard the game is dead, and I would be pretty reluctant to play this game even if it was like $15. How much does the game cost now?

$39 for PC $52 for 360.

Bleh, 2142 Deluxe is $20, BF2 is $10, and you can get BF2 Complete Collection for $30. COD4 is what, $40 too?

The problem with the gameplay being a mix of Battlefield and Call of Duty (which I think is great personally) is that most people will just stick to BF and COD. Both of them are cheaper and more alive then FFOW.
