Well was goin for a drive this morning and low n behold EB games rings me to tell me my game is in... So im thinking? Thats a lil early... but im not gunna complain. Drive down there, they go its $109.. im like 'get f*$@#%' i'm payin $89.95 or i'll go to harvey normans.. so they price matched it and funny thing is Harveys dont even have it yet :P hahahah

SCORE!

Game installed now im off to play wooot!

They had to pay up the *** for it tho, even at 89$ its a rip off so its not like they have anything to brag about.

I'll be picking the game up at Best Buy for about 55 USD sometime later this week.

Yo what the hell I didn't think it came out till tommorow or the next day here in the good old land of Aus... Countdown on EA AUS still has a and day 7 hours left... I think they shipped early and are supposed to stock on thursday but you got sold a copy early...

BTW we do get ripped for games and stuff. PS3 is supposed to retail for the premium version in AUS at $999 however if you convert from US its atleast $100 less than that.

u have the game granted but are u allowed to get the patch from EA downloader to acess online play before us all?

Just realised... Even though you got the game early the AUS servers won;t be live untill Thursday anyway so all you get is singleplayer, which i assume there is no titan on since its only 16 players

well i havent experienced the patch thing, there is just 2 or 3 EA servers up but for us Aussie's they have terrible pings anyway.

EA can sue EB Games for letting one store release it early. You should report it to BFROE

Man that would be wrong, who cares EA already gave so many people a copy since last friday!!! it would not be fair at all to burn a store down because they made a mistake when EA themselves have given the game out early.

I hate people that cause problems when there doesnt need to be, you should be happy for the guy.

Boo Yah! First time Australia EVER gets the game first! Installing my copy of 2142 right now as I type!

EDIT: Not just EB, I got my copy from Gameswizards.

Nice to see the Aussies get something early for a change. It's not much use (no patch, lack of servers), but at least your were first. :laugh:

hmm interesting i got the game today aswell in aus but i cant play online and somethimes i cant even use my soldier it wont connect to the main menu probably wont be ready till thursday sigh dunno why it was released then early lol

Ditto, I can login with my EA account but when I login with my soldier, it gives me an error and loses my connection with the master server. There's a few Internode ranked servers up in Australia if you want to search that up on the browser.

no offence and not flaming you but what are the powerless bfroe stat police going to do about a store selling a copy early and how on earth could they get sued?

And it's not just one store selling it at the moment. All game retailers in Australia are selling it.

Hell it can't be, I got my copy from Gameswizards which is a totally different store from EB Games and I still got the game today. I believe that EA may have let the retailers here sell it but some still don't know they can sell it earlier.

most the stores in adelaide have sold copies to their customers already :)

you americans sure do get your games cheap.. 55 USD is like 68 aussie :mad: but hey, you say we never get anything first.. but we get brand new days first :o

For a man on a budget the cheaper price justifiys the wait.

I wont have mine for probably 3 or 4 more days because I have slow shiping (well the bonus pack I got came very fast and it has the same shiping so I may get lucky)

But if I had known target had it for 43$ today I would have gone that route.

But actually I got paid to buy the game, cheaper than free ^^
