Nah its assult only.

You can't swicth in between the default scar 11 and the Bofors gun.

Well...i got a unlock code from FRS (dutch retailer) for the BOFORS, but when i type it in the Special Unlocks page over at EA it gives me a unspecified error.

Someone else experiencing this ?

Hell...I can't even get my reserved BF2 vet player name to work...

...and everyone seems to be getting DCed from the EA master server every couple mins... :eek:

But that gun is HUGE....it takes up like 3/4 of the screen :hmm:

When using image shack, ALWAYS use the direct link, no ads will pop up and you can just use the BBS tags to embed the picture into your post.

Yep, you pick up the kit and I bet the gun comes up with it.

P.S. this gun is WAY too big, takes up 1/2 of your viewspace on the right hand side, the scope isn't an improvement either, it cuts out way more than the regular EU SCAR-ll.

If you look at the scope on the BOFORS it's using the same environment map as the SCAR-11, you can see numbers scrolling in the top part, tisk, tisk, DICE for lack of attention to detail.

It’s the same gun as the SCAR-11 characteristics wise.

SultanTravi, better check your email, I think everyone who pre-ordered with Best Buy got their order pushed back till 11/21, yes as in November 21. You can cancel it though over their 1-800 number.

should have extra power considering it's so big. if they doubled the power per shot and halved the firing rate, i'd be happy :p otherwise it's unneccesarily huge...

It's being held higher on the screen than the SCAR-11 also. I'd assume that lowering it down would pretty much fix the problem.
