Today at Sony's (http://www.sony.com) E3 (http://www.e3expo.com) press conference Jack Tretton the President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America (http://www.us.playstation.com) officially announced the Playstation 3 Greatest Hits Lineup. Take a look:

well I went and bought COD3 today it was already $29.99 so i bought it. Assassins Creed was 29.99 too. but i saw warhawk(with bluetooth earbud) for 59 and Resistance & Moterstorm for 59

^ QFT. I have been to the US a lot (Mostly Florida, Grandfather has a business there in Pompano) and games are as cheap as dirt!

Well I guess when compared to international prices they are but most games are quite expensive here. 50-65 dollars for more recent ones. COD3 is from 06 early 07 as are the rest of the "greatest hits" so thats why they are much lower.

The cheapest game i've seen is $19.99 and thats Sonic, Juiced Burnout, Beowulf, and one more I can't remember which.

Most games here are $99.95 to $129.95. The cheapest game I've seen was COD3 and a few others selling to $39.95, and that's during a 'sale'. The 40GB console sells for $699.95 or for $749.95 in a MSG4 Bundle. Dualshock 3 controllers retail for $99.95 each and SIXAXIS controllers are at $79.95 each.

Wow that sucks. Newly released PC games are usually $50 here; console games $60.
