Today at Sony's (http://www.sony.com) E3 (http://www.e3expo.com) press conference Ted Price the President of Insomniac showcased some new gameplay from Resistance 2. Take a look:
Sony drops their first big exclusive, Resistance 2, during their press conference. With the help of Insomniac president Ted Price, the game is introduced with an in-game battle against the famed 300-foot "Leviathan" creature. The soldier fights off the colossus with a rocket launcher. As the Leviathan picks up with soldier, he then retaliates with a rocket straight into the monster's mouth. The demo shows off some impressive environments and echoed some amazing sound effects.
Ted Price defines the game as a "Scale" - huge bosses, expansive environments, giant Chimeran warships and epic battles. With an eight player online co-op play, and 60 players firing off at each other online, it sounds like "Scale" to us. We'll see how this game will go against Gears of War 2 this fall.
