there was a command you could enter into the console window during gameplay in BF2. in one of their patches, they disabled the ability to change this (no idea why, the fags...) i was curious if anyone knows this command and if they've tried it in bf2142 to see if it works again.

It's about what point it begins to compensate for your ping, the default being 0.1 which = 100ms.
0.01 = 10ms
0.02 = 20ms
and so on and so on...
Anyone play Counterstrike? Well it's similar too all the rate commands in that.

thank you very much Spuddy! have you tested it ingame? if you have, what was the output?
and this lag compensation is a built in lag correction device. you set it for whatever your ping is (divided by 100) and it's supposed to alter the compensator for that ping rate, effectively altering your bullet travel to make up for the ping (or whatever)
this command was disabled from being altered in 1.2 or 1.3, i believe, (right when i heard about it...) and it would never change from an output of 1...
