I am not bashing this game, I love it, if it would work.

To all of you who are drooking wishing you had the game don't. I just installed it and in 6 mins I got dissconnected from the EA master server 5 times and had one CTD.

I have d/led that patch all all that good stuff.

As far as the actuall game goes it's great, it looks beautiful, the vet program is working fine. I cant figure out how to get the ingame taunt to work though.

Well, I'm a little disappointed right now.

1) Can't seem to activate my BF2 vet name
2) The BB gun Bofors doesn't seem to show up in game
3) Evey 5 mins of game play = boot from EA master server....

Well thats one way.

Another way is to start a Gamecompany and make a multyplayer shooter game.

Hype it so mutch that you get thousands and thousands of fans who defend it to death with no reason and dont relise how hyped the game is until release.

When at release you launch the game and plenty of ppl enyoy it, though its a little buggy.

They trust your company to solve the issues even though you have showed in previus games that you shouldn't be trusted. Just to keep the illusion up you make a few patches witch doesn't actully solve anything.

And btw in the hype you are talking on and on about how balanced the game is and the fans thinks after playing the demo, "woow it really is". Well maybe thats becouse the two teams are MIRRORS of eatch other! even the maps (atleast the demo one) Is a fricking mirror!. We see this in loads of games though but never this badly dissguised.

Well, since nobody here agrees its a mod then maybe we could agree on that its a build on to BF2 (whatever that makes it ^^)

so they haven't started from scratch. But still the game is buggy!?!?!?!

Well yes it is if you just keep buying their games even though they are only half finished.

I actully enjoyed BF 2142 (the demo) but the changes are kind of small and it seems to me that other game developers are more inspired to make good games. Not just pumping money out of the poor fans.

THANKYOU! I was ripping my hair out reading this thread and i was just about to say what you did.

The fact that you have the game before the worldwide release is lucky in itself. Why don't you spend this time making a local server and learning about the new maps and by next week atleast, you should be playing online with no problems.

Heh, not defending this poor launch but you should have seen Anarchy Online. It was unplayable for over a month after release. So many ppl left they had to offer free play for a month or so to get ppl back, and that was after they got it somewhat resolved.

People who had the game shipped to their doors have it now. Stores cannot sell it or hand it out until tomorrow.
