ya man, i heard that too. I was going for the cammo as one of my first unlocks. Then they reduced the amount they could use the cammo for, and now they totally fricken took it out, wtf is up with EA. I hate them!! I hope they get enough requests and sometime patch it back into the game or something.

I have it unlocked.

It's allright for against gunships and such, but do not run around with it expecting to be totally invisible.

You can only use it. No weapons while the camo is being used.

active camouflage in the beta was cool. It was easy to spot if you weren't a complete dumb *** because the shadow of the person still showed. Plus if your sound wasn't turned off then you could hear them walking by with a distinct buzzing noise. One person on the beta didn't have sound. I stalked him in a car for about 10 min with everyone laughing at him because he couldn't hear me. You would think that his buddies on his team would shoot at me. Nope, the laughed too.

it gives you around 35 - 45 seconds of invisibility but it takes about 20 seconds to recharge. Unless they changed it from the beta, it will be like that. And no you can't use weapons or anything while the camo is on. It is very useful in the titan especially if you get on the enemy's before they can take their positions. Just put it on and hide in a corner in one of the console rooms. Wait for them to get situated then run behind them and turn it off. Wait a few seconds to make sure that they didn't hear anything and then have fun. Set up a few APMs behind them and then sit back and watch as the enemy panics and runs around setting off the mines and getting you kills.

1. short time, forcing user to walk from cover to cover while recharging in cover.
2. buzzing sound.
3. not complete camouflage can be seen.

So what are the advantages ? any situation the camouflage users recall that couldn't be done without it ?
Kasei - that sounds cool, but i don't understand how the camou could help you to get into cover, from what you say you just got in there before they arrived, so might as well have done it without camou no ?
