i a big fan of the EOD mod :p so New Version ?

Why yes, there will be a new version. I was and had hoped that I could get it done and released by the end of July. Unfortunately, the mod website went down, real life worked hammered me for most of the month and I just did not get as much mod time as I would have liked for any of the mods that I work upon.

In anycase, I am working very hard and diligently to get the next version out. Currently, the mod status is frozen, no new content is being added and all of the maps that we are going to have are in the build. (Some 30 to 35 maps...4 or 5 might not stay in, as there are some bugs that might take me some time to work off. I am out of mappers and it is just me working on the mod.)

Anyway, we are on the fast track now and I do not anticipate much more time before I can release this build into the Jungle. I just am doing some final run throughs to make sure that there are no show stoppers and no glaring issues that will destroy the fun factor of the mod.

Stay tuned for an upcoming news release from the Jungle on what will be coming in the next release, by way of equipment, soldiers and maps. :thumbsup:

:D I am getting close to where I can flip this out for a more expanded test session. I think we've gotten to the point where we (my brother and I) are happy with the weapons and how they function.

Most of the equipment seems to be on par with one another and working relatively bug free. The maps seem to run smooth, the ai bots are killers and everything is coming together.

Therefore, I will be expanding the test team to include more people from the small handful that I have now.

To those of you who have applied, I will begin drafting you all here shorty for duty in the Jungle. :salute:

It is good, but there isn't a "New" Version out yet. It is still v1.1. The next installment v2.0 is just about ready for release. I just have yet to finish up some "team" things and get a few things tidied up and it will be pretty much ready.

I know I have been saying this now for the better part of a month, but real life work has really put the constraints upon me in regards to free time to do some serious modding.

Therefore, I have only been able to do bits and pieces of things over the past month and being the only full time developer left active on the mod. Things just go sorta slow. Not to say that I don't have help. I have recently been fortunate to have some help from some other mods and people from the BFSP community. Overall, it has been a great boost and I am almost ready.

Keep watching for news and other items. It won't be long before I post up a big pre-launch spread. :yay:
