View Full Version : MP Aosta Valley Map Released

Community member Daevius has released his very first COD4 map today. Here's what he had to say:

It's an Italian village located on a hill. The height differences between buildings from one side of the map to the other is almost 2 buildings in height. The buildings are very close to each other, giving you some nice close combat with quick movements. I tried to make things as pretty as possible, and add loads of rubbish and decoration.

All gametypes are included: FFA, TDM, DOM, CTF, HQ, SD, SAB. The thing that misses is a helicopter, but I will include that in the next version (could not get it to work). The map also has underground tunnels, and an underground chamber...oh how secret!

v3.0 is now released:

- Expanded HQ radius by about 30%
- Made CTF and CTFB flags to work
- Fixed a misplaced wall
- Fixed the bug where players had a red brush infront and their bodies
were big 'FX's.

- HQ gamemode now works
- Fixed roof bug 1 (the look through roof from inside)
- Fixed roof bug 2 (the blocking thing on the roof)
- Added a vision file for extra effect
- Cleaned the .csv file (resolve bugs that appear when using certain mods)
- Made windows and doors be easier to go through...added diagonal
player_clips for the sides, so you don't stuck behind the frame
- Resharpen the loadscreen
- Done some minor tweaks to the roofs
