Hi,
I bought BF2142, but I don't have a internet connection at home yet. And I cannot manage to create a offline account, is it not possible to play single player without internet?

From what I understand, you need to be able to connect to the online account server to play single player. I'm not sure if playing offline is possible.

Ok, thanks for the info, but do I need to do it everytime or can I do it once and then be able to play later?

Last night i played for 3 hours SP without connection, so you can. Just enter your EA Account and pssword as usual and you are done.
If you bought the game via EA downloader you must to be online the first time you run the game in order to validate it.
But after that you can play offline without problems. You shouldn't get your unlocks as if you play SP with connection.

I didn't buy it via EA Downloader, but it seems like it wants to validate anyway.

I think you can play without a connection. From what i've heard you just need a connection to use your Global unlocks.

It seems like I need a connection to verify that I've bought the game.
