My only gripe about 2142 (please read, its not a rant)

My only gripe with this game is this:

The most effective way to blow up a console or the core of the Titan is using the C4 explosive packs, the only problem is that as soon as I place it, 4 other people run up and stand 4 feet in front of the console so if I blow it I will TK them all. Same thing with the central core.

All I ask from everyone is stay back from the terminals and core. You don't have to be 4 feet away to hit it and it will go down a lot faster if you let up place our charges.

Yea, there are a lot of clueless people in 2142 (as with any new game).

It's funny, because I've been able to predict the outcome of each round based on how many BF2 veterans are on each team. More = better.

I actually am a BF veteran back to the Wake Island Demo for 1942 :D but for some reason my veteran name thing didn't kick in.

I agree that the more red 2's on the team, the better that team does.

Then again, all these people trying to kill the console, it's probably on it's last hitpoint and then you let rip with the explosives :D

I always shoot at the console when there's fags in the way but idk thye should stand right next to it , then not expect to get hit with a rocket

I think my main reason for this post was to inform people that had not thought about it.

Many ppl got used to attacking the Titan in a certain way in the demo where there was no C4. It may not have crossed peoples minds that they might get hit in the blast radius.

The thing is because the C4 is the most effective way to destory the consoles, it requires the most teamwork cooridination. If you can't coordinate that then you can't use the most effective way to destroy the console.

I usually knife my own team if they get in the way of my C4. "Ok guys I'm gonna blow the consol up....MOVE!" 5 seconds later they are still shooting at it "F*ck this..." I bust out my knife and TK 4 people, run out like my life depended on it, and blew the sucker up. 5 seconds later "YOU SUCK WHY YOU KNIFE ME!?". Well for one thing, either my C4 was gonna kill you because obviously you can't read my messages or hear me over the mic, the enemy would kill you then i would blow it up if he didn't get me, or I would just kill you myself and no waste C4 using it on you instead of the consol. "Oh.....ok"

Yeah, I love ignorant people sometimes because they act stupid in obvious situations but hopefully they'll learn from it.
