It's a culmination of everything amazing in the universe, fairy's and unicorns fly around you in a circle of candy corn.

Basically it's a new generation of Super Mario if I remember correctly. It's a side scrolling obstacle adventure game. What makes it unique and really intriguing is the ability to play co-op with a friend, and complete the levels together. The other thing which I'm really excited for, is that you're allowed to create levels yourself(or with a buddy) and play them/post them online. And finally you can go online and download anyone's map that they've created, and they'll be rated and classified.

This is the game that I am incredibly hyped for this year, it's the next one I'm buying.

I'm still crossing my fingers and hoping to get in on the IGN beta! One of my buddies who's been following LBP closely, informed me that tomorrow PSN is going to be giving away beta keys, so I'm staying on the computer all day to find out more.

The Gamer's Advisory Panel? No, I'm not in that. I'm sure in some things it makes a bit of a difference, but who knows how selective they are.

The Little Big Planet website crashed this morning due to an overflow of people sitting there waiting for the beta keys haha. It's back up now, but the keys still haven't been released.

So far I am absolutely loving LBP, I've never come across a game as unique and simplistic in my life. The fact that it's so simple just adds to the fact that it's unlike anything you'll ever play. They took something that someone would see as child's play, and turned it into this never ending platforming adventure.
Imagine if Super Mario Bro's for SNES had a level creation tool, how much more fun would that have added?

I really enjoy playing with a friend as well, as a lot of levels have areas where you need two people to get a special item or bonus.
There's also an endless amount of stickers and items you can pick up throughout all the custom levels.

There are quite a few issues in the beta, but that's to be expected. The biggest one is that at random times throughout the day, I won't be allowed to connect to anybody online.
I'll see them online, then I'll try to join their game or invite them into my own, but the connection will fail every time. This seems to happen more at peek hours, such as mid after-noon/evening. But when I try at say midnight, it lets me connect fine.

Also there is often a lot of lag when numerous people are online as well, sometimes online levels are almost unbearable due to lag.

I hope these issues are fixed within the next ...14 days.

All in all, I highly recommend this game to any and all PS3 owners, it will blow you back.

Yea i noticed that it said it ended the 11th. So I will try to get some time in but im so busy now.

I know, same. I just hope by 11th they mean the end of that day rather than the beta ending at 11:59 PM on the 10th. :hmm:

Well my impressions from the beta are just well its cool and cute looking but im not much into it I will give it another try.

I've only played it for a few minutes, but I liked it, it's got alot to do... I didn't really like the controls though... up to pause, down to fly... I woulda used down to pause and up to fly >_> (though you can probably change this)

I just got the BETA tonight and man, it's a really fun game to play. Can't wait for the full thing now!
