Not sure if people all ready know this but if you can put the engineers detector thing on your gunship, tank or whater ever and you will know where any enemy vehicles are around you.

I find this helps the most when I'm in a Gunship.

Yes, placing it on your gunship is a VERY cool idea.

I always stick it to the leg of my walker so that I'm a walking vehicle UAV for my squad.

I did it once but it didn't work for me...

BTW, another tip: TO avoid getting your PDS destroyed in a tank battle, place it UNDER your veichle (crawl under and place it there.

IT's very hard to destroy unless someone misses a shot and hits under the tank, in that case, you probably just won the tank battle.
