knifing

is it just me when someone is lying down it is frickin hard to knife them more than half the time my knife keeps missing and then they turn around and unload a clip into my face what is the best postion to knife someone when they are lying down i tried crouching sometimes you get lucky and hit them but the majority of time you miss and proneing and knifing is a wate of time because the knife is pointed down it does not even make conact with the other players body can someone tell me a strategy.

Switch to throwing knives, and aim for the buttocks.

I will tell you what.. This guy was AFK for a minute. Came and knifed him standing up.. Took 3 STRIKEs just to KILL him. I heard the sound 3 times, of when the knife goes into the body. But he DIDNT die untill the last strike (3rd)

i noticed to that a lot of the times the knife missies, i once walked to a guy who was support and lying prone, i crouched adn knifed him only to have him turn around and kill me, so i thought i needed to prone to but today i did knife someone who was prone whilst crouching bit it took 2 hits.
this is realy sad becasue i realy liked knifes

I believe the body armor is the problem here. I noticed that if I knife someone with heavy armor, it's 3 stabs to the upper torso, and two anywhere else, except the head which is one.

i think if you get the unlockable knife it becomes an insta-kill.

happend to me so many times already. I hit a guy 8 times with him standing right in front of me. 8 frickin sounds of my knife hitting his back and he finally dies.

Yea, i think it has alot to do with the body armour... i usually knife for the upper torso area, just to make sure they go down in atleast two strikes, it has only happend to me that i knifed a guy 3 times is cause i knifed their legs first....

Nope :( which saddens me, same thing happens with that, you hear 2-3 hits and even grunts from the enemy and they don't die :cry:

Knife someone: instakill no matter what. If you miss, you have bad ping/lag or you expect your knife to be 2meter long sword. No! Get CLOSE!!

thats my favorite part. or when they are standing still. and you keep knifing them. your so close its practically illegal. and then he turns around. and you have to change to your Baur and pwn him. cuz your knife is as sharp as a papercut.

knifing is really bad in this game. I've never had a problem with knives in any of the battlefields but this one is just awful.

I'm not saying this because I've tried to knife people and failed. I've noticed on some occasions where people were trying to knife me when I was standing still, I just noticed I was moving around a bit, turn around and notice someone trying desperately to knife me... So I shot him :P
