View Full Version : Is Camp Gibraltar, 2142's Karkand?

I'm not saying they look alike. But, the playing style is very much similiar. People are trying to rush in through very tight gaps, with staircases and railings. It's pretty much mental on servers with huge people in.

What do you people think?

No, I don't really think so. Its an alright map assuming you are on the EU team. IMO its terribly unbalanced in the EU's favor. Its not quite as tight knit as karkand is as well.

Fall of Berlin is the next Karkand, but seeing as many of the maps are just like Karkand, many people will say different things.

Yea that's Cerebre Landing...

But anyway, I think Gibraltar's an alright map, but it doesnt have too much of a Karkand-like feel to it. It's mainly a sniping map and the only armor is the walker.

Yea no karkand but good map, the BEST infantry battles to me come in cerebres landing, the beginning on the ramp (if your EU lol) and once PAC caps 2nd flag it starts a whole different type of battle. Best map IMO.

Meh...

It is really like Karkand at the begining, that huge choke point with all the people flooding it. I would think it's one of the maps that is like Karkand.

Though you guys need to stop comparing these maps to Karkand -_-

EA should make Karkand 2142 map and its Karkand but in the future... Unless the ice age froze Karkand....

Yea thats a pic of cerebre landing. And Camp Gibraltar Is sweet Its my most favorite map so far. I think it could be the next karkand.
