Battlefield 2142 Rank Problem

Like myself, I know a lot of the members of the Battlefield community are experiencing a lack of updates in their rankings, points, awards, etc. in game and in the BFHQ. EA has posted up a new message over on their tech support site to give a reason for the problem. Take a look:

Rankings and Statistics are not updated instantly at the end of the round. It takes a few minutes for processing the end of the round results. During the peak times of game play (Weekends and evenings), the stats update could take longer. Please check the BFHQ section of the game for the update.

Our support staff cannot alter or modify stats, ranks, kits, and badges for any account. Because of the complexity and size of the Battlefield servers and the number of profiles, coupled with the unpredictability of the internet, ranks and unlocks have a chance of not displaying properly. The developers are currently working hard to ensure that we keep any stat tracking issues to a minimum.

Ya, i've had the game for about 4 days now and i have NEVER been able to view my stats or select unlocks.:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I have to restart the game in order to see my updated stats, but the unlocks work fine

yeah, it made me lose like half of my awards and some beautiful dogtags... but I guess I have enough at the moment :p 205 dogtags... I'm glad every award is updated now

Most stuff seems to be working fine for me now, however I like everyone else did have issues at the start. However I still have problems ranking up on Multiplay server, I have to connect to a different (none Multiplay) server to receive my promotion. Odd.

Now it is updating OK, but the awards I earned in the first 3 days are gone for good.

same here good buddy, there are about 3 hours of conquest that I didnt get credit for, i rocked the house and didnt get any credit for it. i wasnt involved in the launch of bf2, did they have rank problems like this?

I know several clanmates have lost pins, rankings, n stuff, but its all good; we can earn em back..

What sucks is getting points to an unlock and then loosing the points.

Notice the fat words. I really don't think they are working ''hard''. At least, that my opinion. I lost hundreds of points till i finally found out i was only a recruit! Could the developers just track the lost points ( because every server transfers the points ) and upload them to the stats? Strange thing, the awards i got during my recruit period show up at BFHQ

In other words: If your stats got f***ed up we won't do anything about it.

wow how quickly we forget. This was the same problem that BF2 had for a while in the begining. I remember gaining 2 ranks in one round back then, I think it was lance corperal and sgt. I had enough points to gain a rank the night before last but I did not get it until midround last night. don't worry. they will post. And if you lose some points, big deal. it's not like you wont get any other points. I lost points on my first night, about 200 to be exact but it didn't keep me from playing the game. I EA was charging a monthly fee to play and you we consistantly losing 100+ points every time you play then yeah. complain away. But if it was some points one time in the first few days of launch suck it up or sell your copy to someone else. I don't think anyone realizes how hard it is to run a successful online stat tracker with a limited budget

Huh? I just connected to a server and got all my awards and my missing 2 ranks. I got the rank message in the server, but BFHQ still didn't update. Think that it will update soon.

Hmm.... P&K servers anyone? If they won't change stats, they obviously won't punish people for stat padding right now...

note: I AM NOT SAYING I'M GOING TO STAT PAD! There is a thing called scarcasm.

dammit... I have a TON of knife kills, and it only shows 5 in bfhq.:cry:

btw, i got about 6 badges and its only showing 1

I have been playing since the game came out and i have 1 guy that works and 3 that don't by this i mean only 1 has gotten unlocks the others points go past the mark but nothing happens, if someone has this problem please reply

i had this problem one day also. it was on a low rank my point meter showed about 90% full but the numbers below it said 890/750-one of those ahbuhhh moments- but then about an hour or two later as soon as i got on another server it instantly gave me my rank and all my badges. so this is one of those problems that just kind of works its self out one of those processing problems

it's really annoying... my ranking hasnt changed for a week now. the stat bar is full and i have more than needed for the next rank. how long will it take for it to correct itself??

i dont know wats the problem with u i am 2nd liuetenant gold now and didnt even have problems until now just something like lets say 2 hours waiting for my rank but nothing else:)
