im stuck on wether to buy a new video card or 1 gig or ram if i brought 1 gig of ram id have 2 in total

my current video card is a 6600gt and im looking to see what would run 2142 better any suggestions??


do i buy a better video card or another gig or ram and btw i dont wanna spend 2 much

hmm, id go for the card first definitly.

umm anything higher then a 6600gt is like 300 bucks and thats little 2 much for me and besides i dont really care if the game isnt full specs just want it to be smoth

are you looking at canadian prices or something? you can get a 7600gt for like 115 or less and get a considerable boost in performance.

or wait for this badboy (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121031) to come back into stock and you've got yourself a nice little card for a damn good price. benchmarks here (http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2858&p=5).

Go for the RAM, its cheap and will give quick boost to performance, only having 1 gig sucks. Save up and get a card aswell :p but i'd probably get the RAM first. No point having awesome graphics if they're running at 3fps due to no ram lol.
