Undercover Soldier

Yesterday, i picked up a enemies kit from a dead body. I was on Titan mode and i discovered that you wear his clothes a bit. Don't know why but my enemies didn't shot at me. Got behind their defenses and simply knifed them, cleared the way for the EU to the console and got to the reactor room and blew it. After that round, a enemy grabbed one of our kits. Maybe i sound retarded, but i saw him as a friend till his name showed up. I thought red/blue name tag bug. But no, it was the enemy.
So next time, if you want to be James Bond. Grab a enemy kit.

Nope it isn't a bug. I shot a guy with a friendly kit and got a fair and square kill. I would like to post some screenshots, but i never done that before. Plus it's very rare to see a guy doing undercover things. Maybe if you helped me to teach me how to post a screenshot and maybe i'll get some of my friends to get undercover soldiers.

If you have x-fire press Scroll Lock + S (I think) if not press Print Scr and paste it into Paint.

Sorry, i just discovered a huge problem with being undercover.
Only your BACK has the full enemy equipment on. So if you approch enemies with your back to them, they won't likely shoot you. But then again facing backwards to your enemy is not that good either. Sometimes the front helps, but only from a way off. I think you can sneak up to a enemy good with a enemy kit.
In firefights, the kit does help. The enemy seeks for a easy target and a friendly suit is not a easy target, they have to look twice before they can identify you.

Yep, when you grab an opfor kit its the backpack that shows the enemy colors with the weapon too IIRC. Depending on whether you have heavy body armor selected or not and if you are playing Recon (slightly different camo IIRC) you can avoid that second look.

Its a good way to give them pause and let you start shooting first.

Of course this does increase the chance of you being TK'd too.
