any tips on piloting thewse things? i seem to have a very hit or miss with these when trying to land on a building or better yet I see ppl using their own escape pods to land on the upper end of the titan.

same as walking. point in the direction you want the pod to go and move forward.

Only time the pods can't be controlled is when you're soawning on squad leader beacon.

And to land on your own Titan, dont try to turn around.
Instead look away and press your back key.

Yeah, Unless you wanna go into a crappy just-about-uncontrolable spin

Or, look in the direction you want to orient yourself BEFORE you pop the pod. This way if you look towards the back of your own Titan and then launch, youre already oriented in the direction you want to go and you dont have to bother adjusting your mouse view.

Doesn´t work for me. I believe the technical term is "crappy just-about-uncontrolable spin" :)

It doesnt work too well for podding onto your own titan, in my experiance

I have a little tip for all the people with G5's or G7's, Is the spawn beacon surrouned by enemies and you dont want to land near it, well while falling crank ur dpi up to 2000 and spin like mad, you can end up really far away from the beacon!

Strange. That's how I do it and I can always land right on the vent opening.
