Hate to tell ya, but the gunships are sitting on the titan for almost half the entire round. If i ever feel like dying fast, i grab the gunship that is almost always available. And considering how hard it is to find a gunner, i can die alone and safe from tk's.

pfft.. they usually just sit there the entire round :pI find that alot on this game unlike bf2 everyone seems to ignore the helis which i personaly LOVE to see caz i like to fly em. And people also dont go for commander as crazy as bf2 which i love this makes for a perfect round for me...! but i have seen people doing stuff like that with the heli flying off doing random things.. which gets annoying sometimes

Killed a tank the other day that way. Deployed chute about five feet from ground, and the tank to my right just up and exploded from full health. I get the message:

I have killed things with a pod but never on foot with a chute.... thats a new one. Only chute kills I ever had were TKs in BF2 when we all spawn at once and you open it up and suddenly kill 3 people in the air next to you :/

They can, its just much harder to do because the Transports are programmed to level off. I've gotten as high as around 400m, but its terribly annoying (at least with a mouse and keyboard) to keep it level and over a singular location at that height. It can be done, but it takes more effort then I care to expend for long periods of time.

That said, High altitude pod drops work great in the game, even better then they did in BF2 (being able to reach the entire map from one location is always a plus).

Those darn EPMs seem to have a unlimited range, I can be clear off the map in no mans land and still get hit by the EMP.

Oh my god you were so high the textures started going :o, thats better is on bf2 sandbox spawn a tow missile or aa emplacement and get your friend to delete it when ur in it, you end up at 999,999 feet or more and i actually freefalled the entire thing, it took about half an hour haha. It was awesome you could spawn heli's and free fall into them.

No, You can only do it with Fighter Gunships as they are the only ones that can get the speed to get up there.
