View Full Version : Titan teamwork score

There is a way on titan mode to get a huge teamwork score
Basically people can just sit in 1 spot and get point after point after point
Is this a bug? I guess it shouldn't give so many points but it's implimented in the game as a normal thing
It's hard to explain without giving it away totaly, but what do you guys think about it (If you know what it is)?
Bannable from servers? I'm not totally sure
Kinda a weird thing really

That was a pretty vague explanation. There are a lot of ways to earn teamwork points on titans. Killing people, repairing titan guns, resupplying, healing etc etc.

MMmmmmm but if I do say how to do it people will go and do it all the time, I don't really want that to happen
All I can say is 1 class can do it and they just stand in 1 spot and get a teamwork score every few seconds

you mean repairing guns? there is a limit to how many points you can earn doing this. don't be a ****ing douche, just say what you mean.

No it isn't that and there is NO limit to doing it
I've seen people get 100+ points alone with it

If that is the case, why even bring it up. The mere suspicion that there are even easier ways to increase your personal score will make everyone go hunting for it - thus further reducing quality of gameplay.
What could possibly be achieved through a discussion on these forums if there is one such exploity-glitchy-cheapy way to get huge scores?
The best place to put this is with EA so that they can patch it and possibly take these effortless point away from the exploiters again.
All you will find here is people who will PM you to get the solution and sanctimonious stat-hugger whining about too many "nerfs" of the point systems.
And, possibly, threats from others who have found this exploit and are using it to be very high on the ranking list.
I can appreciate that you may feel a great deal of excitement about this "secret exploit" but it really shouldn't be brought up here - much the same way that you shouldn't link to cheat-sites with aimbots and similar stuff.
Cheers :-)

But it isn't a glitch and i'm not sure if it's a bug, I was asking if anyone else knew and could tell me about if it's bannable etc
Btw is there anyone I can PM here and report it to?

I believe it's using the support class, holding an ammo crate, I just don't know where on the Titan it is. I say this because I've seen, multiple times, players who I knew were on the titan somewhere the whole round, and were not the commander, have 100+ teamwork points, as the support class. I have no idea where it is though. I think it's pretty lame though, and I wouldn't personally do it, since you can get more points for the round by actually playing.

It strange on titan when i sit in a corridor as support waiting for people once our shields are down and i put an ammo crate next to me, sometimes i can get points for resullpying myself, but that is maybe 5 points a game MAX.

I do not believe that it is a bannable offense to camp a corridor leading to a console like that (or if it is then many would get booted, lol). If the defense is solid enough however it forces the other team to get the silos and bring the titan down the hard way.
Personally what annoys me is when I see 6 people defending a corridor and 10 moving around trying to stop us from landing. Sure, you'll get a score boost for 3 to 5 minutes depending how how long it takes for the team on the offensive to catch on but when they do then they will go for the silos and it's time to do something else then hold a 12 men defense.

Great - just as I predicted, the cat is out of the bag and now everyone will be pursuing these exploit-points.
Thanks to Aeduz and Inkedsphynx, the point-system is undermined even further and the quality of gameplay put under even more pressure from people like hathegkla who care more about persona points than ..well..everyting else in the game..lol.
Nice going fellas! Why not post some cheat-site links while you are at it?

Oh blow it out your ***. It's not a big deal. If you see someone doing it, tell everyone on the server, and start a kick vote. Personally, I think it's retarded because it doesn't net you more points than a good round will get you, and it's not against the rules, or harming anyone really, so who give's a flying crap? I certainly don't.
As for anything else, I don't know of any cheat-site links, because I don't cheat. I also don't run around carelessly flaming people and over-dramatizing the effect of a potential exploit on public forums.

   you dumba$s, its your fault. and I never said I was gonna exploit the glitch I just said I was gonna find out what it was because you were attention whoreing trying to be all mysterious about yer special little secret  and honestly its better if everyone finds out about it because it'll get fixed faster.

Not to point out the obvious but anyone that ever tried to pass through such a corridor of death should technically have already known (it took me 20 deaths to figure out that it was about time that I tried something else). Also anyone that got caught up should - eventually - realize that there are other options besides throwing themselves in the meat grinder such as going for the silos or camping their titan and keeping their defensive force busy. Such camping spots will only earn you points if the other team willingly throw themselves in the meat grinder.
Personally when I'm leading a squad if I realize that the enemy is defending the heck out of their titan I will order my squad to attack silos and I will remove the squad beacon to emphasise my point. Let them camp that corridor all the way while missiles pound their hulls.
its is not fair... just dont do it.. I TK ppl who do it

Your bold statement couldnt be more true. I am one who likes to pod launch onto your own ship and defend that way and depending on how willing their team is to carry on attacking, i get between 50-300 points in a round.
Otherwise i play as recon and shoot you in the forehead as you go prone capturing silo 5.................

1) It is important that this cheat has been adressed, I've been wondering myself how 100+ teampoints in one round are possible (I don't think it is impossible but this way is nothing else but wrong)
2) It had to be said, the greater the chance that it will be patched (please no ea hate thread)
3) Those "Death" corridors are only a problem if everyone runs in there alone. But if there is a full squad with a medic going in there at once it is quite hard to defend the console. Problem is that most persons die, spawn, run, die, spawn ...

Uhm...Yeah..you make-up phreak..lol.."and honestly its better if everyone finds out about it because it'll get fixed faster". That's probably a pretty compelling logic - in you are an invertebrate.
It wasn't "my secret" (it's not enough to just skim text fast, you actually have to understand it to be qualified to comment on it). I didn't know and didn't want to know the mechanics. Of course people like you are going to run like a crzed lemming to that exact spot to get some points for yourself.
The more people who know about this, the more people will be exploiting it. How hard is that to grasp?
No different that posting some cheat that punkbuster can't catch - the effects are the same.

It certainly is possible!!
I myslef have had in excess of 100 points on titan mode as an assault kit when attacking the titan. (Every kill = 1 teamwork score)
Add that to revives + heals + silo capture + console / core destruction
Very easy to get 100 teamwork points in a long titan round.

A long round? Is 30 Min. long? Ok lets think of 30 minutes. With 100+ points they have more than 3,33 ppm. Think about it and don't forget that you would have to kill 100+ persons on the titan to get this amount of Teampoints (and this would give them at least more than 6,66 ppm)
BTT: They don't kill or revive anybody. They just stand there and get points for whatever. If someone concentrates on reviving and gets that much points: fine with me. But this is just so lame.

Im not saying that what they do is killing or reviving, but playing properly and doing like i say, revives + heals + silo capture + console / core destruction (please pay attention to the entire post) Along with kills it isn't that hard to get 100 teamwork score in a score of maybe 130 / 160

Let's look in the BFHQ leaderboard :
1. S_jackson [17,700 score] - 2900 resupplies
4. DualNuke [16,750 score] - 14,000 resupplies
9. LilGangstaGirl [14,603 score] - 8040 resupplies
10. xXx[GER] [13,202 score] - 1800 resupplies
15. Edge [13,203 score] - 2500 resupplies
maybe below 2k resupplies may be legit, but most of those have like 50 total kills with MG's ... makes you wonder ;)
If this doesn't get patched soon, everyone will be generals in a week from now :D

It is Support, they can apparently stand in 1 spot and get hife teamscore.
We have tested it and it is complete BS. no such thing.
The case is: there might be people overhead (console 3 or 4) who will be resupplied. So it looks to u if u get ghost points.
However ui can ensure u that u will be banne dif u try to do this from about every admined EA server.

Support on the Titan will get you a lot of points but its not like its a bug or anything. You are genuinely resupplying everyone. Must be something else.

As someone who like to play support in the role of titan defense it is not that hard to believe that it can happen. I like to play with my friend and his brother and found that if one of them spams nades you can get a score that high because nades compose a large amount of what it calls your ammo supply. If you reload 1 clip of say the lamber carbine, it only counts as about 10-15% of your ammo supply, while nades seem to contribute to 33-50% based on the kit.
Even if you never set foot on a titan for defense or offense, it is still possible to get huge resupply points just by dropping an ammo box when you capture a flag or silo. I have found that in titan mode, before the shields have come down, not a lot of people play support so you can resupply with no competition frequently. Because the ammo box resupplies all ammo, including gear like turrets and mines, and vehicles the idea of high teamwork points from resupplies alone is not a difficult concept.

Actually you are not resupplying anyone - the issue is taht when the defguns fire, they "go empty" in between salvos. The ammo-hub the "reloads" the defgun, which is unnecessary since the defguns reload themselves.
It's a damn bug - another exploit that went through the testers net. The speed with whcih this exploit was found is really indicative of how they found the wrong people to test this game before release.

I don't see it as a bug or exploit; it causes the guns to reload faster thus letting you shoot them faster. It's like the way in BF2 that supply crates would replenish the missiles in the AA launchers on the Essex. You could shoot 8 in a row and still have a couple left because the supply crate was resupplying them. I'm not saying that some might not exploit this, but I wouldn't call it "unnecessary" because it does add value.

Yeah, you can ressuply tanks, APCs, Walkers and even FAVs this way; it's not a bug per sé, but definetively one cheap one when used near the titan's guns. It's bugged because it lets you ressuply yourself and get points for it, kind of what it would be like to have the medic hub heal you and give you points for it. Maybe they forgot, or the supply calls are bugged.
Using it on the titan's guns is cheap, but not illegal. You can get points too if you have th4e advanced ammo hub and go as copilot in a gunship, you will replenish it.

Bingo. A bug allows a support player to resupply the titan artillery guns. They have to be in use though.
So, if you see a Supply class sitting in a titan gun, with an ammo box next to him, you're watching an *** in action.
