Since we don't have one, let's start compiling a list eh?
1. The Two Seater jets apparently can reach escape velocity from the earth's atmosphere. If you angle them 90 degrees up, they will still continue to gain speed. At around 500-700 altitude it will become uncontrollable by and large, and your speed increases to around 2000+ quickly. The only way to get out of this is to hold the back button, and begin to angle downwards with all your might.

Pressing the "D" key will not slow you down, it will cause you to decend. To slow down simply tilt the vehicle back slighty, but not enough to lose control and flip

Both Transport/Gunships have forwards movement without actually pressing any key once they are airborne. When you're within 100m to your target drop zone, release your forwards key and begin to descend. You're landings will be much easier.

Yeah, the key for landing is don't come in too fast, nor too slow. Tapping 'W' when you're going to fall short will give you a little boost to reach that landing pad. Just make sure you weren't being tailed by a gunship before you land, or else you have a 50-50 chance of getting missled to death, or rammed.
My tips for flying the gunship effectively:
-When in a dogfight, let go of 'W' and just turn towards the enemy gunship if possible, tapping 'W' to keep yourself from losing too much altitude. This is probably one of the most effective things I do to take down enemy air vehicles.
-Don't just land and forget that transport on the enemy titan! Fly that sucker high above the titan, and have your teammates pod in. The driver gets the driver ability points for doing so, and the teammates get a fun pod drop onto the titan. (Note: You may want to watch out for the AA guns on the titan, have an Engie take em out for you.)
-When shooting at an enemy air vehicle while in the gunship primary seat, if they're not going directly towards or away from you, then aim at least an inch, if not a few, in front of the fleeing vehicle. They'll lock on mid-flight and chase the doomed target. :D
That's all I can think of for now. More to come possible. :)

Want to flip out your team mates? Who doesn't! Both sets of Air vehicals have an UNCANNY ability to pull out of a straight dive. With only 50 altitude you can still pull out of one with enough practice! Great for dive Bombing, and troop drop off. Shame that they weapons aren't strong enough to dive bomb effectively.

If you fly the transport ship high enough (Alt. 400+ meters) in the center of the map, on a Titan map, people can spawn on you, pod out, and reach most (if not all) of the silos from the same start location.

If I remember correctly, if you right click while falling in a transport pod, you can right click to burst it early and bust out your parachute for a easy HALO ribbon if you're at a high altitude. Not totally sure if you can do the same with other pods..

The "S" key does different things for the different air vehicles.
For the Gun Ship, it puts you into Hover mode (Much like the F-35B)
For the transport ship, it causes you to lose altitude (Like the choppers in BF2)

The attack gunships dont have pods, when you eject from them you have to parachute, i found this out the hard way.

I like attacking with the attack vtol's. Works good.

on several maps there are high buildings next to a silo (coughMINSK there are loads) if u land a transport right on the edge and turn side on, u ahve a whole silo full of infantry to aim at with passenger gun. ur looking at 8-9 kills b4 they even know what is killing them

Ohhh, that might be the reason why i go podding and then suddenly fall to my death cos my pod broke midflight. Good to know. More flying tips. Need to cull the noob pilot population.
Any other good tips or is it just a practice grind and offline experimentation till you're good?

Check your six. Works every time for those who do it. Amazing amount of pilots just see straight ahead. When the first damage is done to your gunship it's time to pull out of the engagement (except the gunship duel). Gunship is not really the strongest machine out there and surprise assaults work the best. Especially if the sky is clear and you see an APC/tank/walker going down there and they have not noticed you then hover in place behind them and fire the whole salvo when you are really sure that you can hit the target with all or most of your missiles. Strafing does not work too well with gunships since the missiles are quite weak. Your best bet is to sneak up and fire away.
If there is a gunner with you, don't be an asshat and try to "steal the kills" either by strafing them (uselessly since missiles are really really weak for infantry killing) or road killing people. Let him do the infantry killing with machine gun and you worry about the environmental threats. Also let him try to take out the armor with tv before you engage. This works also in to your advantage, because tv does not kill with one shot so you can finish the target if the guy actually hits something.

in the gunship, if you hit an altitude of about 200m, you can go into a hover, angel your nose straight down, then as your nose passes the straight down mark, hit full speed, you'll do a front loop :-D that one really confuses dogfighters

Some of you are forgetting that you can avoid the danger of relanding on the Titan by landing on your no-cap spawn zone. Most of the time (I think one map doesn't have one) your land-spawn zone has landing pads on it.

A counter tip for people leaving aircraft to be aware of - people who are parachuting CAN be shot and killed. A skilled sniper can time the downward fall of the target with the drop of the round to pop them in the head quite easily. I have done it several times with both an AR and a sniper rifle to people para-dropping from an exploding Titan. Your best bet as far as parachuting goes is to screw the damn ribbon (or only get it once if you insist on collecting them), and reduce your vulnerability by doing a true HALO - High Altitude Low Opening, jump. Spend as much time as possible freefalling and only open your chute at the last possible moment.
What good's a ribbon if you're a corpse?

Attack runs-
I generally find you need at least two runs at a fully armoured tank or APC (more for walkers). I have found the most effective way is to come in steep and fast. aim the target reticule just very slightly above your target and fly straight at it, hit the shields, fire off a salvo and then either go into a steep climb or look for somewhere to hide whilst you reload and recharge your shields. On your second run take the time to come from a different direction. Don't fly directly back at the target because they will be waiting for you.
AAA -
Know where it is on each map. Alter the areas you are attacking. After a couple of runs in one area someone will invariably jump on the nearest AAA and emp you. Watch for the tell tail tracers going up towards the titans. then hit the position from behind. 4 or 5 missiles should do it.
Transport ships -
Easy kills for the gunships. If the crews are switched on then they can shred you with the onboard cannons. Try and come in from above and behind. Sometimes it pays just fire a couple off missiles and then wait for the shield to come on once it has died they are an easy target.

will a joystick work for ether of the flying vehicles? it seems like a throttle might really help.

whenever you hear the lock on sound or know that an AA is targeting you,
point the gunship nose up and accelerate.
if your high enough any EMP missile hit will disable you but your high altitude will prevent you from falling to the ground.
