Sometimes during the game I see some vehicles and mech walkers glow with a light-greenish godly glow. Can anyone explain to me what this means please...???

Active defense.

Active defence, it surrounds the vehicle (Walker, tank, transport ect) so missiles
wont damage it .(Bullets will still go through)
Its under countermeasures in your key bindings

Just think of it as the star treak "Sheilds up scotty", except they don't last long...

if youve played bf2 its binded to the same key as smoke (x) although imo not as effective.

not in the slightest. A medieval knight's shield can be considered active defense :P

As for OP, think of the shields like in star trek.

Actually, no. Passive defense is armor; something that just sits around and absorbs the damage. Active defense is something "reaching" out and intercepting the projectile. Think blowing up missiles with lasers. ;)

It's a very cool glowing effect isn't it? Godly glowing would be an effective description. If only it lasted longer... Or shorter, depends which side one is on.
