buddy list problem?

I have a few buddies on my list.... i got a request today and i accepted but the person was not added to my list.. is there a cap on the amount of people you can have?

No, but it won't put him on your list until the next time he logs in.

This happened to me twice, I coulda swore that they just automatically show up, even if they are offline.
